Description
Can the Paris-Berlin tandem continue its pro-European course, or will there be EU-skeptical tones from the Élysée Palace in the future? When the French are called to vote for their president on April 10th, the results from the neighboring country will be eagerly awaited, not least in Germany: With Marine Le Pen and Éric Zemmour, the incumbent Emmanuel Macron will be challenged by two representatives of the extreme right. The final decision will probably not be made until a runoff on April 24th, when the two first-place finishers in the first round of voting will face off.
